Becoming a therapist later in life has given Kim a unique perspective and a deep sense of empathy and understanding for those navigating life’s challenges. Her own journey has not always been filled with rainbows and butterflies. She has walked through difficult seasons and experienced the kind of growth and healing that comes from finding your way through them. It is through her own healing that Kim has learned to sit with others in their pain, to be present without judgment, to hold space for what feels difficult, and to trust that healing is possible even when the way forward is not yet clear. These experiences have shaped the therapist she is today, allowing her to meet clients where they are with warmth, acceptance, and unconditional positive regard.

Kim works with individuals experiencing trauma, attachment wounds, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, addiction, phobias, and feelings of being stuck or overwhelmed. She believes we must feel to heal and is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can reconnect with themselves and experience meaningful emotional growth.

Outside of her practice, Kim is a mom to two sons and feels grateful for the privilege of watching them grow into young men. She is happiest near the water, spending time with the people she loves, getting outdoors, camping, and enjoying the quieter moments of life. She has a good sense of humour and loves a good laugh. She also enjoys a good cold plunge in a lake or the ocean, embracing the reset and sense of peace that follows. She believes there is something powerful about slowing down, being present, and making space for what truly matters.
